Today I noticed some small inward dents on the passenger doors (front and sliding), right around the end of the door handle.

I know they are not door dings or anything because they are the same on both doors, in the same position relative to the door handle.

Anyone seen this on their Ody?

Unfortunately this is normal. It's been reported before (plus I have them on my tailgate and sliding door) that it's a body defect on the Odyssey. It's seems to create these small circular indentations. Could be caused by fluctuating temperatures. No one knows for sure.

my 2001 EX has what look like slight dimples oriented vertically, about 1-2" high, toward the rear of the sliders (not near handles on both sides. These also are not dings as they are the same on both sides, hard to see except from certain angles. Anyone else have these?

I first noticed the dents in my 99 EX after I had to continually close the doors manually after they quit working the first time. When pushing the doors in to get them to latch after sliding them closed, I noticed that my fingertips on the on the rear of the sliders had dented in the metal. My wife's fingers had created other dents nearby where her fingers natuarally landed. See if your fingers fit your dimples when you close it manually(or your palm). Also, similar dimples are created when the tailgate doesn't latch all the way and you naturally give it that extra push. Try to remember to open it again and slam it harder instead of pushing it in that last bit manually. Hope this helps.
