Yesterday I replaced the driver's door window switch module/assembly to resolve a switch issue with the rear driver's side window. That all went fine. All windows and door locks operate correctly using the new new switch module.
However, I have been unsuccessful reprogramming the key FOBs. I know the window switch module is the receiver for the key FOB's. I've searched here and read many of the threads on how to reprogram the remote FOBs. I especially followed post #18 in this thread:

....but to no avail.
Is there any special trick or step I am missing? I did not disconnect the battery at all, as I concluded this was not necessary. Perhaps it is? Do I need to reprogram the 2 FOB's in a particular order? Both FOBs worked fine before the new window switch was installed and both have good batteries.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
Thank you.
