The sub box will only support up to a 8 inch subwoofer. There's not enough space to accommodate a 13 inch sub. I personally wouldn't recommend a 13 inch unless you plan on doing some customization that will require sacrificing space and looks.

My plan is to install the Alpine SWR-843D 8 inch unit. Also, you may want to look into the dimension of the JL amp. It may not fit. The stock amp is small and mounted vertically behind the glove compartment.

The new 8" Alpine Type R is quite nice.

Do you already have an enclosure?

In my opinion the 13w7 is way overkill unless you are a basshead. It's a great product but very pricey. Also, the box will be quite big.

What is your budget?

Do you know where I can find more info on the stock amp? I plan to upgrade myself. Just having a hard time deciding where to install a new Amp. I want to keep my space. Was looking into a 5 channel Amp, but if the stock Amp can provide what I need, no reason to buy a new one.
