Most ppl over oil these filters and KN is very specific on how it has to be performed. If you don’t follow their instructions then you have an oily MAF. Even if you use a paper filter, you need to spray the MAF sensor with specifically designed cleaner and let dry, once a year to maintain maximum sensitivity.

Yeah, especially after it's been re-oiled (required service).
U got that right. After that I started using just OEM filter and call it a day...

I had K&N filters in my 2013 Dodge Dart (CAI version), 2016 Nissan Murano (drop in), 2000 VW Passat (drop in) etc... never had a single issue for 3 years, it is not dusty where I live, so pre applied oil was as good as new 30000 miles later on all of them. Car becomes a bit better in terms of responsiveness, but don't expect much more than that. I'm planning going with CAI on Odyssey, full carbon fiber cold air intake to wake VTEC :) dyno says it adds about 15 whp and 12 wheel torque... not bad
