I have 97 odyssey, i recently changed the transmission fluid with honda
synthetic fluid. IT's been a couple of mths now and my cooler hose is
leaking ie the one going to the radiator.i have tried tightening the clamp
to no avail.Is it the synthetic fluid? or do i need to change the hose?

When did Honda start selling synthetic ATF? It shouldn't be the fluid's fault. Just change the hose and put on a new clamp.

Honda started using synthetic DW-1 ATF in 2011. The natural Z1 is discontinued.
