We went with the leather to get the DVD.

The wife and I would not have gotten the leather if it were not required.

Search the forums. This has been discussed several times here.

Pros:
Easier to clean, especially with kids.
Looks nicer, unless you skip the maintenance
You can get the DVD player.

Cons:
Requires regular maintenance.
Might be hot in summer. It is colder than cloth in winter for sure.
Might get scratched, don't know.

We had leather in our Town & Country and loved its durability and how sanitary it was...wiping off spills - instead of the liquids and **** soaking into the upholstery.
Our dog was a regular rider (along with the two kids) in the car - 90lbs and nails were not always groomed but, no scratches to speak of. That's why we have the EX-L now...but, isn't the leather on the Odyssey only where you sit - not everywhere?...

I have an 89 Acura Legend with leather. I ordered the Ody February 14 with leather. I enjoyed the leather in the Acura very much, it held up great with the big acception of buckels on shoes. That made many surface scratched that can't be buffed off.

Leather all the way. I have Brittany 10, Garett 8, Bailee 4, and Griffin 3months. The little guy ralphed
the other day and it wiped right off the leather versus soaking into the cloth. Keep the leather clean and treated with a leather conditioner.

Get the Leather! Have had both. My Ex-L should be built this week (so they tell me
). Have 2 children 5 and 3. We opted for the leather after our great experience with a Camry with leather that we have had since our oldest was < 1yr. It has held up great!

My wife didn't want leather, but I talked her into it. I've had vehicles with leather in the past and loved it. She has never had leather, so I'm really hoping she likes it (due to be built in the next 2 weeks). We have a 4-year-old and another on the way, so I'm hoping it will be easier to keep clean.

How often does it have to be treated?

I've been told to treat mine once every three months. I suppose several things could factor into how often one would treat the leather. In So Cal it stays real clean. Not much rain, no snow, no salt. Any other inputs out there?
