Hello All,
Somewhere on this board is a person who knows about LED Lighting.
I could use some information on the subject.
Sorry for posting this here, but I NEED to find this person!!
Thank You

If you find out about any replacement LED lighting bulbs for the van please post your findings. Overhead LED lighting bulbs would be very cool because they could be left on for maybe days without killing the battery.

His user name is darelldd, but he only hangs around here occassionally since he passed on the Ody to get an electric car. If you find one of his posts, it should have his e-mail address so that you can get a hold of him. Post your findings on the forum so everyone can benefit!!!

Go to WWW.LEDTRONICS.COM. They have all sorts of neat incandescent to LED replacements. Be prepared to pay though, because one replacement bulb for the stoplight runs around $48! - but you probably won't have to replace the LED array for the life of the van.

RadioShack sells LEDs, holders, and the resistors you may need to limit the current. Are you running them on 12V DC? Even the 2V LEDs will work fine with a 1K ohm resistor in series.

Hey howdy.

Yes, "LED" in the title caught my eye, as usual. I'm more of an LED fanatic than an expert though. But to that end I know where you CAN get any questions answered by experts.

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/ is where you need to go. An excellent group of folks, and a great place to hang if you're a flashlight nut like myself. (Anybody else out there own a $100+ flashlight?). If you need to email me, my forum email should be valid - so feel free.

Hey OdyRocky - Yup, I can guess your line of work. I just bought my first SureFire last week. A type III HA SF E2. Can't wait for it to arrive. I have no excuse to own expensive lights - I'm just a nut.
