All,
I replaced my left body-panel-mounted brake light/turn signal assembly after a pickup backed into my 2008 EX-L.
Everything works fine, except the signal light does not work. I tested the bulb in the right side, and it is fine. I've isolated it to the connector - the light will flash when not in the reflector housing. It goes so far as to flash (hazards on) when I plug everything back in and close the tail gate. Then, I turn off the hazards, move the car, and no joy on the light.
It works intermittently at best, so I need to fix it. The question is, has anyone replaced the left-side turn signal connector? Is that a difficult thing to do?
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sharif
