We recently bought a used 2000 Odyssey w/ 105k miles, and the gas pedal feels a bit heavy for our taste. What governs how much resistance you feel on the gas pedal? Is there a way to lighten the resistance (friction?) so that it takes a bit less force to press it, and -- more importantly -- it goes down very smoothly? Right now it feels a little bit sticky, so that's difficult to press it just a little. You wind up applying more and more force until it gives, at which point the engine revs more than you intended.
