Loud Banging/Knocking on EVERY start-up

2006 Honda Odssey

I think we have narrowed it down to the Anti-Theft System

Everytime I unlock the doors or get in without it being locked the banging (on dashboard above/behind CD player) begins.

Start the car and it continues for about 1 minute then is gone, even if I don't start the car it continues for a minute.

Any ideas?

Trunk Monkey trying to get out. His access door must be jammed.

His quarters obviously relocated to the large unused dash area since a minivan lacks a proper trunk.

Sorry haven't experienced it. Why don't you try to take aprt the dash and partially pull out the radio and determine if you can find where the noise is? What if you remove all the CDs in the 5 disc changer?

Taking apart the dash is a quick procedure, no more than 3 minutes. You'll need a longer philips screw driver to reach the radio mount screws.
