rear climate control fan motor? rear passenger side?
Loud fan noise when starting the van
I have a 2016 Touring Elite and today I noticed a very loud fan noise upon startup. It lasts about 30 seconds and then stops. It happened each time I started the engine, about 4 times today. I walked around the vehicle and it seems to be coming from the vent in the trunk on one side. Any ideas?

Definitely the rear HVAC. That vent/grill is the air intake for the rear AC system.
Check the rear settings on the HVAC controls (see if it is still set to sync with the front, etc.). The kids may have messed with the rear control panel in the roof...
