[1997 Odyssey LX]

I use a laptop computer on the road religiously by plugging it into a 750 watt inverter. Whenever I plug it in (car on auxillary or motor running) on my other cars, the computer charges and works fine. Whenever I use it in my 1997 Honda Odyssey LX, it won't charge when I plug the computer in the inverter or directly into lighter. I tried starting thecar and still no luck. Somebody mentioned a falty lighter, but I doubt it, cause I use a DVD player and it works fine. The Alternater
is brand new and OEM specs.
