All,

I have a 2011 EX-L and seem to have to "fade" the music almost all the way to the rear speakers to get any noticeable volume from them. Note: By "rear" speakers, I'm refering to the second row speakers as there are no third row speakers on the EX-L.

When the speakers are set to have "equal" distribution between front and rear speakers, the volume is NOTICIBLY lower than the fronts and can hardly be heard.

Is this normal? Is anyone else noticing anything similar?

Thanks in advance,

Sid

Dear Sid

I haven't noticed this yet. We have the EX-L with navigation.

I've found the audio to be super-clear in the middle ranges, but overall the audio system just doesn't impress me at all. Since I plan to keep this van for at least ten years, I plan to upgrade its audio system. The current plan is for Hybrid components and coaxials and an Arc amp. We don't plan to add third-row speakers or modify the subwoofer at this point.

Same here

My kids hate the new Odyssey. The audio system in our previous model (2008) was much louder and clearer in the rear.
