I have an '03 LX. The two lowest fan positions would not blow air, but the two highest ones would. Fan speed is controlled by routing the "low" side of the blower motor through a resistor pack that places various resistors in series with the selector switch.
Got a replacement resistor pack from NAPA. Standard Motor / Intermotor P/N RU334. About $70.
