I just place an order for my new 2002 ODYell Res and think I got a deal at 500 over MSRP via a broker.

I have read numerous emails on availability and pricing on the forum over the past couple of weeks and this seems reasonable. I also have dealt with the dealers who are sticking to anywhere from 1500 to 2000 over MSRP and they aren't budging.

Then when I saw the article about the new ODYs rolling out of Alabama my heart sank as I am beginning to think yet again I am a victim of bad timing.

What has been your pricing experience for you, the new owners nationally?

Well I am definitely not getting a steal but I think I can save some face as I am not too far out there.

Bring on the 2002 GG EXL RES.

Prices seem to vary by region, city, and dealer. It can be frustrating to compare MSRP +/- to deals across North America; some places are more competitive than others, for whatever reasons.

If a deal is a several hundred $ one way or the other, that is only a small percentage of the overall expense.

I know where you can save $500. Connie Ford at Griffith Motors in the Dalles (www.autocost.com) will sell one to you for MSRP.

Her email is:

Good Luck!
