I use microfiber towels to dry the van after a wash. But I use cotton to apply and buff the wax. In particular, a cotton baby blanket. I think a microfiber towel would be too coarse for waxing.
MicroFiber towels....suggestions?
Any suggestions for microfiber towels? Best place to go....walmart, target, costco? Im looking for one adequate for waxing the new ody. Also any difference in wax pads (applicators)? Thanks!

Big Lots has them at a good price.
microfiber is the only way to go and is the onlything that is used to dry my ody.... the best and cheap microfiber is from sams club ProForce Microfiber Towels - 24 Count - Sam's Club the ones from yellow ones from costco suck they lint alot. but if youre serious about quality buy online from a detail supply store

I have an applicator pad for putting on wax. But removing wax....what do you all use? Thx for the response re: cotton. Anyone use a microfiber towel for wax removal or is it mostly for drying of the cars? thx
microfiber is the way to go it wont induce swirl marks

Personally, I use the Ultra Soft Polishing Cloth made by Mothers. It is microfiber, but feels softer than any others that I have used. Looked around some more and discovered that there are specific MF towels for each job - drying, polishing, and dusting. Those for polishing are much softer than the ones for drying. Now I have the full set.

Shipping is kind of high, usually US$10.xx or US$14.xx, and, according to my contacts, there's never free shipping. About the best you can hope for is twenty-five percent off during sales.
