Mounting the Heartland Console

Has anyone actually permanently installed the console? Some folks are just setting it in the van, others are using bunji cords to hold it in place, but has anyone bolted it down? Are the three studs sticking out from the removed center tray any use in the installation? Is it necessary to drill into the floor?

Center Console-Yes, you do have to consider the spare tire compartment. Any installation would include a wing-nut or other quick release device. I'm not purposing that it be welded down, just secure as I don't particularly want it going airborne in the event of a quick stop or (heaven forbid) and accident. Imagine being saved by the air bag only to be killed by the console
