Bump, there is no great variety of good automotive paint in my local hardware. They offer me this usual paint https://www.mrosupply.com/paint-painting-supplies/spray-paint/1386194_k07908000_krylon/ I read on other websites that guys use the Plastic Dip. Who has used it?

Without powder coating involved I just don't see how you would get much durability with a rattle can paint job. Once power wash and you'll see the paint fling off.

 

The durability of paint on rims depends on prep work. If you prep the surface really well, the paint won't flake off easily.
