2012 EXL

i recorded some of my CD's (original CDs) to the audio system, unfortunately the albums are not in the gracenotes db (as I had expected - these are foreign music CDs).

1. Is there a way to name the album and tracks in such cases
2. Can I delete songs that I don't listen to from an album to free up space (2 gb hdd)

thanks,

Yes, when listening to the track, pull the joystick down to go to music settings. There you can make changes including renaming the track, album and artist, changing the genre and deleting the track or entire album.

Well at least that's how it works in the 2011 models. Let me know if it's different in the 2012 models.

Why not read the owners manual?

I reviewed both the 2012 Owner's Manual and Navigation Manual, and one makes reference to a CD Library and the other an Hard Disc Drive (HDD) library, which is a bit confusing.

http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/OM/K81212/K81212OM.pdf

http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/p...2/K81212NV.pdf

I assume the HDD is for the larger 15 GB drives and the CD library is for the smaller 2 GB drives only, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, for the HDD, if you refer to the section starting page 145 of the Navigation Manual, there is some mention of editing music information (i.e. page 151-52). I hope that helps.

i have the 2012 EXL (no NAV or RES) 2 GB library - does not have any album / title renaming instructions in the CD-L section pages 216-221 :(
