I brought my 2006 Ody Touring in for the master cylinder recall, today. While there I had the cd player removed as it was not working at all. On the way home that evening I noticed the Navi wasn't working.

I tried rebooting the navi disk with no success. I called the dealer and will be bringing the Van back there on Monday. I live about 28 miles from the dealer and this will be a big pain in the neck and wallet.

Is there any chance that it is normal that the navi doesn't work with the cd player removed?

i would try disconnecting the battery overnight and connect it back up in the morning and see if that works. It would ask you for the code, which there is a sticker in your glove box. If you can't find the code, then don't try it till you find it.

Waste of time

I drove 52 miles back to the dealer only to find out that the Navi doesn't function when the cd player is removed for repair. Ok so that was May 7 and it's now May 27 and no word on the repairs so far.
