Been lurking around the fourm for a little while and gathered some great information 05-10 gens and about the updated transmission in the 07 up and the vcmuzzler which is on the way

Been looking about 4 months
Now and prices are crazy nothing really caught my eye tell a few days ago when this 07 touring was just traded in at honda dealer 2.5hrs away with 198k pulled up the carfax 1 owner clean history with a lengthy service history at the honda dealership it was bought at in Wa last big service at a honda dealership was 191k timing belt water pump drive belts the works

These vans have some odd interior colors with certain colors I couldn't believe my luck to find out it had the black interior which is in rather great Shape not destroyed the exterior is not flawless after all it's 16yr's old

it drove great on the test drive and I knew this was the one the price was $5,000 I know seems high but the junk I've looked at before couldn't pass on it drove it about 170 miles home beautifully no creeks clunks etc I've test drove a few with half the miles that didn't drive that nice

Miles is only one indicator of a car's condition. I'd look close at the maintenance records the dealer may have and then, if it looks like it's had good maintenance, and you get a prepurchase inspection from another shop or dealer, I wouldn't hesitate. The biggest issue I'd be concerned about would be transmission. If the fluid looks clean, indicating good maintenance on the trans, and no other issues found in the prepurchase inspection, I'd probably pull the trigger.

The black interiors are not common simply because it was only available on the Touring, which was not a particularly common trim to begin with. Most Odyssey buyers (when the car was new) sprang for the EX-L model.

Yep. Black interior is rare, I've only seen one or two myself.

Looks like someone dePAXed it as well at some point. That's nice to see.

At least at first glance it seems like you found a nice one. 3rd gens are pretty resilient so even if there's some minor things it's likely not a huge deal. Definitely get a PPI.

Wow, I guess I didn't realize it was rare. I have black interior on mine.

It's naturally going to be rare when it's a single option on one single trim, that being the loaded trim that will naturally be purchased less than one of the in between trims.

It was new information to me that Black was only available on the Touring. My parents bought it new, and I bought it from them 6 months later so I didn't shop for it. I didn't learn the available options like I would have if I would have bought it new or selected it from a pool of vehicles in the used market.
