I know of no other place besides the dealership to get the keys because of the imbedded immobilizer chip. They'll need the VIN number and proof that you own the van. I got a key from the dealer on my 98 Accord for $35, if my memory serves me right.

 

I called around the Austin area and this is what I found:

Classic Honda
In Round Rock

They said the remote would cost me $35 and after programming it would cost me $70.

First Texas Honda
W Koenig Ln

They said it would cost me $38.50 per key.

Howdy Honda
Santiago St

They said $25.

They all said if I just brought them a key that worked (I have one) they could program a new one for me.

I suppose if you don't have any keys they will need the vin and proof of ownership.

The key will do just fine. $25 dollar is the cheapest price around. Find the remote from Ebay and do the programming yourself. You'll save a lot more than at the dealer.
