Swapped the belt out. Now I gotta wait for a big rain and see what happens. It didn’t slip when I poured water on it up top and it was noticeably tighter than the old belt. However, the old belt doesn’t look too too bad. Might be a small sign of glazing, but that’s a real stretch. other than that it looks okay. Wasn’t a bad job either. Was able to do it myself in about an hour. Longest part was taking the dang fender liner loose so I could get to the crank pulley.

Looking good, better be safe than sorry. Hopefully that can fix the belt issue.

I have found dayco belts to be noisy and garbage from brand new.
If that was a dayco, that could of been the problem.
