I have a 2003 Odyssey EX-L (DVD, no Nav). I recently replaced the front speakers with a pair of JBL 6.5" 2 ways & Boston 6.5's in the rear.
Now after the stereo has been on for about 30 minutes or more, I'm getting some low-level noise through the speakers, almost like an alternator whine. It's more noticeable at lower volumes.
I had no problems prior to replacing the speakers.
Anybody have a solution? I'm thinking I should add a second ground wire, but it's been too cold to pull the radio out. I should be able to get to it this weekend.
If I add a second ground, where should I attach it from? I can find a ground on the chassis easily.

I don't think adding a second ground is going to help much. The radio has a ground in the harness and is held in place by metal brackets that are bolted to the metal frame for the dash. It won't hurt but I don't think it's going to help. It may just be that adding a tweeter in the door has shown where there is some noise introduced in the line that wasn't noticeable with on a mid there before.
