I have been reading and searching and can't find the answer to what I'm looking for so sorry in advanced if it's already been covered.

My 08 EX-L is in need of new tires and being that I was quoted $600 for a new set, I was thinking of just swapping out the rims as well.

This is what I know.

Lug pattern is 5x120
I'm assuming the EX-L is not PAX.
Has TPMS sensors.

What I don't know.

Do I need to remove the TPMS sensors from the OEM wheels and put them on new rims?
I was thinking on non-factory, aftermarket performance rims and so I am not sure how that will work if my car comes with the TPMS sensors.

Once again, any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

NVM, I did a little more digging and found out that some aftermarket rims do allow you to put in the TPMS. Not sure if the $500 18" set from Craigslist will work. LOL. Anyone have 18" ADR's on their odys?
