Well in the hope that someone (who is as much a car geek) at Honda would read this....

-Minor body revisions/fascia
-HID headlights and better stock reflectors
-side lights (LED?) that activate with the turn signals to illuminate a turn
=A 'REAL' SPORT PACKAGE MINIVAN
-Paddle shifting on steering wheel
-Transmission with driver selections for sport/touring/towing
-stock leather wrapped steering wheel
-AWD drivetrain (I can live without the 'magic well' and make a removable 3rd row)
-17" wheel option with performance rubber for those of us who never see snow
-sport exhaust to hear that lovely VTEC, figure it will be subtle if under 5000rpm
-High end factory stereo option
-LED tail lights like the Cadillac
-factory equipped tranny/P.S. coolers with temp guage for tranny
-fully adjustable seats (bolsters etc)
-longer arm rests for us 'larger folk'
-a rear utility light built into the hatch so when it's fully open you could floodlight an area behind the van
-an on-board standard trip computer to calculate fuel mileage/current 'real time' mpg/and projected distance till empty/distance covered already/hightest speed to take photo of later rather than attempt at 112mph/etc
-a fuel gauge that is 100% accurate with a low fuel light that the customer can set (rather than with 4-5 gallons left)
-a roof rack delete option on the EX
-a more subtle atenna rather than the stock 'afterthought', I have a nice roof mounted/angled stock VW antenna that looks great.
-Honda factory accessory third seat for the 2nd row to complete a 'wide bench' and would use the factory floor anchors

-A LIFE, because 'no one with one' should be up at 1130 MT time writing this on a Sunday!

Does any auto have that feature? I just assumed we'd never see auto closing windows due to the risk of injury and the added expense of sensors that would stop the automatic closing of the windows.

VW has auto up windows with pinch protection. I had it on my New Beetle.

OdyRocky, did you add the VW antenna to your Ody?

Gee, I just thought mine was just clogged ;-)
Any easy way to make it spray?

Most of these are great ideas...

Better lighting around the HomeLink buttons is a good idea.

So is a physical disconnect on the power doors.

here is a good one for those of us with kids.

my three young ones all sit in the 3rd row. when we stop at mcdonalds, my wife goes to the back to feed them. she has to fold the captain chair and sit on it. it's not really made for that. it would be nice to have the chair flat and the back very strong to sit on. maybe a way to reverse it so she could sit in it, facing them.

also, dvd with nav!!!!!!!!!!! with video controls displayed on the navi screen so you can see what is going on.

not only memory for the seats, but memory for mirros.

the reversing and side cameras the japan version has.

some kind of interface for cell phones built in. i know all cell phones are different, but some engineering ought to go into accomodating them.

* backlighting for power window controls
* chrome exhaust trim option
* wipers that dont streak!!
* ability to stop sliding doors by pulling the handles
* sport wing option

and for the rear windshield wiper fluid problem: my cr-v has that same streaming effect. the CRVIX forum has a cure by upgrading with a newer nozzle that 'fans' the fluid, but i'm not sure if it'll work on the ody. handa-accessories sells it for about $8. here is the link:

This is one of the most useful mods I've done. There is room to mount an LED inside the dome light lens which glows at night to illuminate the dome light/Homelink buttons. During the day you don't notice it. It is tied to the same ignition-on circuit which powers my Donelley mirror.
The LEDs/mounts/resistors can be found at most any Radio Shack.

Has that mod been posted somewhere? I'd love to see some instructions and some pics. If there is no DIY link, I'll do it myself and take some pics. I think Honda missed the boat for illuminating the homelink buttons. I hate having to hunt the right one down at 1:30 in the morning.

Well my parents just bought an Audi Allroad which beyond the 250hp/twin turbo/Porsche designed Tiptronic tranny/etc...has front AND rear heated seats....so let's throw that on the list...oh, one more thing, when the car goes into reverse the rear view mirrors automatically tilt down for better visibility. Better idea...wait five years and buy Allroad when Ody is paid off....
