I have a 2004 Odyssey that I inherited from my grandfather. It runs great for about 30 miles, then the engine starts revving like it's not getting enough fuel to it. It is worse when I am accelerating from a stop. I can park it for a little bit and it will start running again. It was showing a code for the catalytic converter. So we got the front two replace, and my van is still doing it. I'm not quite sure what to do since it isn't showing any codes. It stalled in the middle of an intersection today. I was able to get in over to the parking lot. After I set there for a while I was able to drive home again.
If you asked technician to fix it, and they replaced the Cats. because of the code, and expected it to work, you need to go get your money back and take to someone else.
Codes are great, but they tell you symptoms, not problems. The situation you describe above is like going to the doctor with a heart attack, and getting a prescription for cholesterol medicine. It may help some, but it doesn't treat the whole problem.
It sounds like you have a fuel system problem (induction system, fuel rail, fuel pump, etc.) So treating the exhaust, while it may or may not need the work, will not solve your problem.
You need a thorough diagnosis by a qualified technician.
