2006 Honda Odyssey 3.5L
I've had a weird vibration that only seems to occur when the vehicle is under very little load and with very light accelerator applied. For the most part, it happens cruising on the interstate.
The vibration is intermittent, and it sort of sounds and feels like 10% of the rumble strips on the side of the interstate.
After reading another thread, I unplugged this connector, and it threw a cel, vsa light, and did not allow ECO to turn on. The VIBRATION WAS GONE, but the van had a horrible studder when trying to merge onto the interstate.
I read further in the thread, and it seemed like the brown plug would be a better option, so I tryed it. It turned on the cel, and I had no ECO light, but the VIBRATION WAS BACK.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for the help.
ETA: when it does the vibrating thing, it stops by adding or letting off the gas
After reading some more threads, I thought I might describe the problem more fully. When it is in high gear, with no load and a lightly pressed gas pedal, the car vibrates and makes a low brrrrrrrr. It doesn't sounds or feel like a suspension problem. It feels and sounds like something engaging and disegaging. Torque converter? Why would unplugging that other plug stop it?
