So I tried to do a DIY SRS code reading project. Where you stick a paperclip into the OBD2 port in slots 4 and 9 like this post link says DIY: SRS Codes and reading them. - Club RSX Message Board and count the number of blinks to determine which airbag code it gives you. Since I cannot get my SRS airbag light to go off even after the old paperclip reset on the fuse box trick. This process of paperclipping your OBD2 port however can prove to be quite dangerous to the health of your car if done wrong I am finding out!
I think I got it backwards the first time in the OBD2 port and did slots 16 and 5 (upside down from what you were supposed to) followed by a spark. And now the car won't start, and when I put the code reader in it just says error. Did I just fry my onboard computer system for the car? yikes! I've checked all the fuses. They are all good.
