I just ordered a set of 19 X 8.5" 40et offset TSW Ascent rims with 245/55/19 Yokohama tires. I am not sure why people think 19 inch tires cost a lot of money because they seem to be the same price as 20 or 18 inch these days, no premium pricing.

I know this is an old thread but here is my 2008 with Pirelli Neros (correct weight rating) 245/50/19"s. Fitment is good. Camaro wheels with aluminum hub-centric adapters and stock lugs/locks. No vibrations. I need to pry my old TMPS sensors out and install them. I grabbed these wheels and tires off CL because this type are all the same width and then I put chrome Impostor Wheel Skins onto them.

Thanks for the recent input gang. Appreciate it.
Bu the way, I saw a post in here where he had 19" rims with a +35 offset. He said he had no rub issues. Good for him.

I use a BMW rim 18 x 8 with a 35 offset. My rear tires rub when I hit a dip on the road. I am thinking of using air bags in tje coil spring to see if this will help. Here is a pic of our van.

New 19’s on our 2018 Elite - OEM, but not stock. 255/50R19. They are Acura/Honda, but not what anyone else has - bonus points for correct identification. Hope to get some proper pics up on Instagram soon.

Bandwagon, very nice. Did you by any chance weight the wheel before mounting? Just wondering if they are +/- compared to the NSX Y-spoke 19" fronts.

Thanks in advance.

I did try to weigh them, but not on an acurate scale. The stock Elite wheels were at least 2-3lbs (each) heavier than the NSX Interwovens - 19 x 8.5 with 255 wide Continental DSW tires.
