I have a 2002 Honda Odyssey with 14k miles. Today, my wife saw light smoke coming out of hood after driving 120 miles. We also noticed around 20 or so oil spot on the driveway.

I noticed that there are oils on pipes and parts on the right side of the vehicle (where the transmission fluid stick is located). I am sure the smoke came from the burning of those oil). The oil and coolant levels are normal so far. The question is where the lead came from?

Valve Gasket?
Head gasket?

Well, it definitely not from the oil filter right?

Any ideas of the repair cost?

Thank you so much.

Can you clarify the mileage? I don't imagine you meant 14 K miles.

The transmission dipstick is on the left (driver's side) side of the vehicle not the right (passenger).

The mileage is 140k miles and the leaked oil is at the driver's side, close to the transmission fluid dipstick.

Soak up some of the oil with a white paper towel. Reddish would be tranny oil. Maybe the oil overheated and some got blown out the dipstick? Maybe it was over full? Like spilling water, a little bit of oil looks like allot when spread out.
