For you people that have pics in the Fototime website: don't know if you got the e-mail but I just received mine saying that they are going to start charging at the end of this month. Something like $24/year.Not in my price range.Don't want to add another monthly/yearly payment to my budget.
Guess I'm out to look for another website. Any suggestions ?

I know Photoshop (doesn't everyone have this $800 piece of software) will write a webpage around a directoy of photos and then you can just uploaed the whole shmeel somewhere...maybe Jim's got some extra space here...although I seriously doubt he wants to handle the administrative nightmare of ftp permissions..

I'll happily pay them 2 bucks a month for the services they've provided me. I'm surprised thay didn't have to start charging subscription prices sooner. IMO, no other service has even come close to providing the caliber of on-line album that they have.

Beleive me ,Chuck. If I could really afford it, I would stay with them. I've also been very happy with their service .Easy to manage, easy to navigate. Maybe when I can afford it I'll use their service again.
My friend just suggested the photo website of HP. I'm checking it out right now.

We have a limited amount of space here, but unlimited bandwidth.

All of the Tech and Gallery images are hosted on our server. I wanted it like that just incase Fototime or whoever went down, we'd still have the pics we needed.

I'll just buy more space.

If anyone wants to submit pics to me to host on the site, email them to [email protected] and include a description of each pic like you have on Fototime (if needed). Also tell me what section to post the pics under. I'll be bringing the site up to date next week. I took it off to visit my Mom and whip the site into shape.

I too had photos at Fototime. It seems that all the good free services on the web keep going away. Anyhow, my wife has several albums at the webshots.com site. She liked some of it features better than fototime. It is currently free with unlimited storage. Hopefully it will stay around for a while.

Thanks for the suggestin,james. I'm in the process of transfering my pics to webshots. One thing I can't figure out is to link a single pic to add to my signature like fototime. Is this possible in webshots ?
