Address both now or you will deal with the other bank shortly. 188K is about the limit with or without VCM issues. I’m at 245K with OEM cats but new O2 sensors and fouler in place. Just a matter of economics for me. I refuse to put in $2000 worth of cats in a 246K mile vehicle when there are lower cost alternatives.

The anti fouler just lets the downstream O2 sensor run cooler so fools the ECU into thinking the cats operational. This works as long as the cat is not physically breaking up and blocking exhaust flow. Yeah it’s possible my state emissions may not pass but I’ve had these on for several years and it passes the emissions test every year. They scan for codes as well as tailpipe emissions.

You may end up finding that the first sign of trouble never comes. The 11-12 Accords supposedly have had fewer issues. But it's definitely good to be alert for the possibility as unlikely as it may be.
Yeah I’d err on the side of disabling it sooner than later. At least you won’t incur damage if done now. Later it may be able to be fixed but no guarantee.

For the OP, I’d skip all the magic liquid and run a good premium fuel. I’d also drive it like I stole it for about two weeks. Beat the tar out of the thing. It will break up any carbon and the rich fuel mix will help while not allowing a ton of penetrating fluid deep into the oil. That will destroy these motors very quickly. Tolerances are already tight and thinning the oil will just increase the chances of spinning a bearing or locking up an oil pump.
