Hi guys I'm new to this forum , signed up here with no intention of posting anything but then this happens
So we jut picked up 2016 EX-L with 37k on it so wife drove it around and said AC not blowing cold so I went around and started checking, found one relay that wasn't working it had a hole in its shell looks like someone poked it with something . So while was sitting car idling three lights came on LCW failed and LDW failed and traction control light and check engine light also .So I made the guy scane it and 3 codes came up ( same code 3 times )he also stated looks like they were there previously ETCS or P1659. And I noticed the rpms was staying over 1k and when I pressed on the paddle didn't seem like it did anything. So the guy erased the codes I drove home , no issues. Then later when I started car up the same lights came on again. So what can it be ? Is there a fuse for the throttle body ? Is the accelerate pedal bad? Or there something else?

When your lcd/lcw comes on I would check your brake fluid level. Idk it's weird but, I've had to do this to a couple of vans. Put a little brake fluid in and all the problems go away (lol) I scratched my head on that one. [emoji2369] As for your other problem, it's definitely your throttle body.
Could be some of these. I just copied and pasted. Didn't want to type all of it. Will have to test connections, relays and parts.

Faulty Electronic Throttle Control System (ETCS) Relay

Electronic Throttle Control System (ETCS) Relay harness is open or shorted

Electronic Throttle Control System (ETCS) Relay circuit poor electrical connection

Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

I'll check the fluid level, now its get me thinking I was sitting down hill on parking lot while car was running when the lights came on , also I'll try to switch out the ETCS relay may be I did something when I was pulling the other ones out
Yeah could be. Turn the car off before you switch the relays.

K I'll do that, any specific fuses I should look ? Also I just remembered that I previously removed "idale speed control " thing when I was removing power steering pump and I reinstalled it most likely I didn't put that half moon teeth in same setting maybe, after reinstalling it the car ran fine I drove it for few days.

That more than likely could have messed up your throttle control. Would just have to go to Honda to have your idle relearned

So I just took that piece off to see if I can re align it, theres no guides on it its wierd I can spin that half moon piece on the engine side to what ever position and still install it, do u know does it self adjusts?
Did you get a p0507 code when this all happened? Of not than I don't think that the idle control would be the issue

No , only codes that came up when he scanned it at auto zone is 3 code all the same ETCS that's it . So he erased it than lights went off I drove it home no issues the Ac still didn't work so I took the front bumper off to see find the ambient temp sensor because I don't have any temp showing on the dash it shows -40 when I turn the ignition on so I think I found the problem who ever had the car previously never installed that sensor I found taped up wires with a connector on it but no sensor, no one have it in stock here all special order so when I get one on Monday hopefully that will fix the AC not blowing cold..

I shifted fine when we drove around no issues there , only thing my wife just told me last Friday when she was driving, she was switching lanes she got to close to the car she said and something started beeping. The car drove fine after that she said slight delay in acceleration she said I think she just got to used to driving traverse that we had before this one ,( on my opinion the Chevy did shift better smooth between gears then this ody I think that Hondas do that )

This van was in accident previously too light front pass side damage fender part that's why I'm checking over everything to see what else is missing, or who ever didt put everything back.also heres a picture of some green wire that's cut off right in front of a battery , when I had the bumper off i didn't see anything that it can connect to and all the wire housings looked factory wrapped in original tape like u see on the picture , is that a ground wire ? Or just a dummy wire?
