Painful Static Shocks by Ody

My wife & I have been getting static shocks everytime we get out of our Ody. This happens when we get out of the van & close the doors. As soon as we touch the doors to close them, we get this painful static shock. Would someone please help tip us a way to get rid of these shocks?

before I started buying vehicles with leather I used to get shocked too. All makes and manufacturers seem to do this. My cure was to spray the seats about once a month with "Static Guard". The same stuff you buy to fight static cling on your clothes. It works perfectly!!!
