Ok, I used the new search feature...

Does anyone have the location of the "Parking Brake Inspection and Adjustment" that is needed to clear up the rear brake howl... It does seem to only happen at low speed... Like some others, I am not at a place financially to purchase the service manuals (even off eBay)... But I don't want to damage my 2007... It's our goto vehicle. My 1999 Silverado is laid up with no sterring right now...

There is no specific Rear Parking Brake DIY but....

I wrote DIY: 2007 Honda Odyssey Front Brake Rotor (also Rear Rotor & Shock Absorber Pics).
- Scroll down to thread #10 and 11 to see the bolt sizes for the REAR Rotors. Basicall remove the 17-mm bolts and the caliper comes off. Suspend it with wire to prevent damage to brake hose.
- Use "Impact Driver" to remove the 2 Phillips #3 screws holding the rotors:
- You may the the bolts M8 x 1.25 x 25 to extract the rotors:

Thanks CNN,

You are one in a million when it comes to documenting DIY's... Will it damage anything to let it groan a little longer? Sounds like I'll want to replace the pads while everything is disassembled...

Waiting a bit is probably OK.

However, you should remove the REAR rotors and inspect the Parking Brake Anatomy.

Then re-install it.

Remember this is universal rule for Parking Brake adjustment: move the adjustment star wheel until it lock the wheel (you cannot spin the wheel).

-Then back it off about 5 clicks.
Now you should be able to spin the wheel.
If you hear a slight dragging noise while spinning the wheel, it is normal, nothing to worry about!
