This seems like a tough question which I am unable to get an anwser to; My dashboard parking brake light comes on flickering. So far I have tried following:

Flush the brake fluid
Replaced the front pads
Checked all 3 bulbs

This is a 2003 Honday Odyssey with 39K miles on it and it brakes just fine. I am wondering if anybody had similar issue and were able to get it resolved.

You were incorrectly sent to the other Brake thread. Yours is a parking brake light issue and the other thread is for the ABS and TCS light(s).

This is a more appropriate place for your issue v/s the Introduction forum.

So, for you, there should be a switch behind the parking brake that indicates the system to light up the bulb in the dash. Did you check that switch? Looks like your switch is faulty or out of place.

You might try checking the master cylinder cap, pn 46662-S0X-003. It has a switch in it that causes the brake light to come on when the brake fluid gets low. As the pads get worn down, the fluid goes down & this indicated that the pads are near replacement. Or it may indicate the switch has gone south.

IIRC, mine comes on intermittently right after I bought my car. I was told to swap out the brake bulbs as they were sensitive to being old and causing an imbalance in the circuit and trigger the light. It's a function that tells you the brake light is out.

If anything, take them out carefully and plug them back in and see if there is any difference.

I swapped out both of them and my light went away. While I was doing searches, if you replace the cluster with a LED bulb on the brake warning light, that will trigger it too.
