Performance air filter recommendation

Best Filtration: WiX

Best Air Flow: K&N

I alternate between the two depending on the season. When it's dusty season, Wix. When it's rainy/not dusty, K&N.

The K&N does improve MPG and adds a pony or two, but it really frees things up a lot. IMO it's worth paying for the K&N as it'll pay for itself due to not having to buy another. The cleaning kit is cheap too.
:) You must be able to predict weather, or have a weather making machine? 😂

Haha. The Wix usually goes in just during the Summer for the most part. After next Summer if the Wix needs to be replaced, I may just stick with the K&N and clean it more often. After all, they have the famous 10 Year / Million Mile Warranty, which is pretty much lifetime for me as I won't keep the Ody that long.

Even though the K&N doesn't filter as well as the Wix, like most of us here, we change the oil often enough to where it doesn't really matter much. If someone was riding out their intervals to the 20K, 25K + mark with some of the motor oils out there, in a dusty location and with a K&N, then I'd be wary unless they clean the K&N frequently. ;)
I went with the Wix filters. The K&N filter and cleanup and oil kit coult not be found here in 8 different Auto Parts stoes in Omaha, I could order them on-line but had already pulled the air filter out of the ODY and my wife needed the ODY that day. Oh well will order them soon. I found out that I avoid driving on gravel roads since I have got the ODY new, a friend of mine also has a 2018 ODY EX-L and his skirts on both side was paint chipped fairly good. He lives out on a farm and is one of the vehicles you see that half the vehicles are covered in gravel dust.
