Oh, I do love this Silver Beast......

Now I can really relate to all of you who have finally picked up your Ody. We got the SS EXL.....it's got lots of bells and whistles(going to give away our old reliable and still running pretty good 1985 300D Mercedes, (l7yrs with NO PROBLEMS)already messed up the new radio....doesn't go on...have to check what my husband did (he drove it home)..sheepish look on his face when I asked him how he liked it! "Well, I seemed to have done something wrong with the radio"! Anyway, the Starlight Silver is beautiful in every light...no blotches, streaks, or clouding noted. Had a great dealership experience. Bought it from Elk Grove Honda from Blair Morrow...very nice and helpful.
One thing though...I still have to get that contact paper installed!!!That remark is just for Jerry O!!
Am I a real member now...no more junior?

Thanks for the congrads Nestor. Apparently the service dept. didn't enter the anti theft code after they disconnected the radio to install the in dash cd changer..on the drive home my husband kept punching in the code but with no success....??? maybe he punched in a few invalid numbers while driving home a new and unfamiliar vehicle...So, back to the dealer for a fix.....about an hour drive
Will strongly suggest that the service dept. have the entering of the anti theft code as a check off item before delivery of a new vehicle.

Congrats on your SS-EX, we have one too...please don't give away the 300D, find a nice home for it instead...there are a few of us VW/Mercedes diesel 'nuts' out there!
If only Honda offered a nice TDi engine in the Odyssey...imagine low 40's mpg

OdyRocky,
Thanks for the congrads. Going to give the Mercedes with 269,000 miles on it and still going (mechanic said, "could go another 100,000miles)to my niece for a work car.Kind of a wedding present...(they need an another car for work...different schedules). Hmmm..I think the Honda is a quality make but I doubt if I will be able to say the same thing about the Odyssey....that in 17yrs. and 269,000miles it's still running with NO MAJOR PROBLEMS! If mercedes made a mini van with the features and size of the Odyssey we would have gladly paid more...we keep out cars a long time.

Still I'm glad the Odyssey was out there to buy...we love it!
