Gee - it looks kinda dirty - you couldn't clean it first??

j/k - it looks great gleaming in your driveway!

How close is the GG to the Stone Canyon Gray of '99?

Congrats Todd! I think I remember we exchanged email back in June when you were researching the 2002. I'm so happy that you got your van so fast! Beautiful!

Yes, with a build date of 8/25 and delivery scheduled between 9/5 and 9/25, I was very happy to have it arrive on 9/7!!!

Tlutz,
Congrats on you '02!!!!

There has been an element of doubt for the leather seats. Are they all leather or semi-leather (backs made of Vinyl). You would be the best person to provide the first hand answer. Thanks.

You have leather seats, right? Are the intire seat make of leather or the seatback is make of vinyl?

I'm no expert, and it's not obvious. What is the best way to tell?

Pretty difficult to tell the difference in most cases. Even "experts" have trouble without looking at the reverse side of the material. Leather usually has a suede-like or rough appearance while vinyl is quilted or otherwise has a backing.

So, if you're willing to tear apart one of your seats......<:-O

Do they feel different, both the seat area and the back area?

Can someone with a 2002 please do me a favor? First, if possible, please scan the pages in the manual relevant to child seat tether anchors and send them to me? If that is inconvenient, pictures or a comparison to the 2001 model would be great. For reference, some info and photos on earlier models is here:

Much appreciated!

OK, I added more photos to the album.

Regarding the leather...
1. Front and back of the seat smell the same to my untrained nose.

2. In the close-up photos, the back looks a little smoother.
3. In real-life, the textures of the front and back of the seats match very well.
