Placing a call using Bluetooth

Is there a short cut I'm missing??? Prior to owning my Odyssey, I had an Accord EXL V6 that made dialing a simple task. I'm finding that it seems like there are extra steps involved in making a call with my van. Before I could hit the talk button and say "dial Hubby" and it would dial immediately. Now, I have to say, "dial by voice tag", "dial Hubby", then "yes" to confirm. Is anyone aware of what I may be doing wrong or a short cut? Thanks!

Bluethooth calling = part of the audio system = belongs to the dedicated audio forum.
