Grrrrr. I have a 2008 Odyssey EX-L. My fidgety daughter fully extended the ceiling mount seat belt in the second row, and now it's stuck, fully extended.

It looks like a tiny edge of it is folded over where it comes out of the ceiling, but I've yanked and pulled and nada. I don't know if she somehow twisted it or what. I just want the darn thing back in the ceiling where it belongs.

Is there an easy fix for this? I searched the forum and couldn't find anything, my apologies if this is covered in another thread.

Thank you!

Yeah...talk about entertaining, when the kids are in the van, it's like...

"LEAVE...THE...SEATBELT...ALOOOOOONNNNNNE"

It probably is folded in there, you might try something thin & dull (like the back side of a butter knife) to unfold the likely folded over webbing. You should be able to remove the garnish from around the mechanism in order to get a better view.

Thank you so much for your reply! I took a letter opener to it and it retracted! I never would have thought of that. :duh:

Thanks again!

No problem, now if we could only get a straightjacket option for the rear seat.
