I was looking at a 1997 with 97K on it. Original owner was retired and drove it to play golf...I know sounds like the like the old woman just driving it to church. Son bought it from parents and has driven about 10K in the last two years. Will get it mechanically checked out but was wondering if $4900 sounds like a right price?

Also was wondering if the 97 will feel different from the 98 that I currently own. The 98 has 252K with a 35k engine replaced at 108K. The 98 needs to have the rear proportion vale replaced and they are going to splice and dice for $700.

Don't know if I should put the money towards the new one or have both!

Any help would be appreciated.

I just recently bought a 96 Odyssey Ex with 225,000 miles on it for $ 2,800 and is probably not as good as the one your looking at. i hope at $4900 it is in Great shape..

$4900 is a lot of money for that.
I disagree. If it needs nothing and is really clean then it is well worth it. A $2800 high miler that needs work ends up costing a lot more and it is still rougher than a clean, low mile Ody.

I agree. The guy in denvers sounded like he really cared for it and he said he would not have any problems sending me on a road trip. At the last minute he decided to give it to his brother. I think this was a cream puff. Sorry I missed out on this. Any comments on the one listed from RAI listing?
