Problem with info/nav screen - 2007 Honda Odyssey EX-L.

After about 5 minutes or so the info/nav screen will stop working. The screen and buttons on the screen will work fine (other than GPS not working reliably) until that point. Once about 5 minutes passes the screen will just go blank (black) and not work any more or respond to any buttons.
Tried disconnecting battery to reset the system, the re-entered the code to get it working again but the problem still happened again. I have also have ejected and re-inserted the nav DVD under the front seat.
At this point I am assuming the screen needs to be replaced but was looking to see if there was anything cheaper that might be the cause.
