I just changed my tape player to a cd player, and i notice at night time the interior clock light does not light up.

is it suppose to turn on or not?

The clock is wired to the lights. It should be illuminated at night like the rest of the guages. Perhaps something went wrong when you changed the CD player.

WRONG !!! I think the clock stays illuminated regardless of the lights. If you keep your lights off at night, the clock still is lit.

This is a very common problem in the Honda Accord and the Odyssey as they both use the same clock. In accords since we have to remove the clock to get to the stereo, the small bulb behind the clock gets dislocatd or something. Sometimes it just burns out.
