I am adding an aftermarket overhead DVD player that has a hard-wired FM modulator. I need to tie this into the factory radio/antenna connection on a 2011 Odyssey EX.

Does anyone have some insight into the proper way to remove the head unit in the 2011 models? (i.e. which panels to remove and in what order)

you may want to try calling the folks at crutchfield. they've been pretty good about getting their hands on new models. if it's done they'll have a tech sheet on it which is invaluable and worth the cost of admission imho.
