I am hearing some rattling on my 2012 TE - about 650 miles on it- and I cannot tell where it is coming from. It seems to be off towards the back on the passenger side. Some of it sounds like vibrating plastic and some of it sounds like metal. Any ideas of where I should look to narrow this down?

I had a rattle in the back too. I heard it as I drove it off the dealer lot. Turned out to be the plastic licensce plate cover. And it does sound like its inside the car. I removed the cover and screwed back the plate. No noise. Try that .

we had some loud road noise in our '11 T (equivalent to the US TE)... i noticed it one day when I was driving that there appeared to be a lot of road noise when seated in the driver's seat as opposed to sitting in the passenger seat... it's the wife's van so I sit in the passenger seat most of the time! I mentioned it one day at the dealer and they said that they had some '11 Odys with the same problem and it was due to the door seal gasket on the driver's door... they took it off and reglued it, and it was fine... apparently, the type of glue was changed during the production cycle and also there is a coating put on the seal after it is installed on the van to make the rubber softer, so that it seals better around the door frame.... or at least that is what I was told at my dealer.

Anyhow, the problem has been gone for well over a year...

You are going to have to be abit more Sherlock Holmes about this. There are a lot of parts in the back of the van. Get someone to ride along in the back and see if they can pin down the source a bit better....

I agree with Moca. We had a noise and I rode in the back while my wife drove around. Turned out to be the large seat back on the 3rd row. Would not make the noise if it was folded into the floor. The dealer replaced one of the hinges and oiled the other, noise is gone!

I started getting some squeaking from that I believe to be my second row seats. Ever since I started using the wide mode and I removed two of the three second row seats to cary something large they have been squeaking after re-install.
