rear ceiling vents.

1737 Views 6 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  winsonchan
I just try to turn on the heating system on the first time. But after a couple of tries, I don't seems to be able to get heat coming out from the ceiling vents...just the floor vents have hot air coming out. Is this normal? I even try with the auto climate knob all the way up. Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

If all else fails read your manual.

The top vents are for cool air and the floor vents are for heat. Yes this is normal.

Thanks for your quick response :)
( much faster for me to read the boring manual)

Since hot air rises naturally, it makes sense for it to come from the bottom vents. These are to heat the car, not hair dryers.

Because there is a lot in the manual you need to know about that you have not thought to ask about, and probably will not think about until it is too late.
