Just a useless question. Our Ody has amber turn signal lenses on the rear. There is another SS Ody in town that has red lenses. I can't tell if it is an '02 or not, but it does have the same alloy wheels that we have.

Just Curious.

They probably just changed the lights or the wheels. All 02s have amber tails.

The grill is different on the 02. Less ribs with a bigger H.

According to the dealer I spoke with, Honda decided to change the turn signal to yellow because several Odyssey owners got into car accidents. The red turn signals were harder to see.

Amber (yellow) turn indicators do stand out better and that may be part of the reason for the change. However I think it has more to do with fashion or just making a visible change so that everybody can see that it is a new Odyssey. If it was really for safety then every model made by Honda would have amber turn indicators.
