It is not easy. I have tried it just to try it. I carry a breaker bar in my van on trips, along with a torque wrench. In my '19, i threw away the space saver and the crap it came with it. In my '24, I think I still have the stupid space saver under the floor along with the jack and stuff - which I need to get rid of.

I can with my foot, otherwise i have taught my wife to take her "club" anti theft tool pull it apart then insert the wrench handle into the tool and use it as more leverage which works very well.

I haven't tried to remove the lug nuts with the factory tool, but I'm pretty sure, after removing and replacing my spare twice, that there is enough room in the under-floor storage area for the telescoping 1/2" breaker bar and socket that I use at home. I'll know for sure before we drive to Florida this winter.

I have a tire wrench kit in the ODY to remove a flat tire?

Could they afford it, and is it made of the same electronics as the rest of the ODY is, and does it need the HDS to see if the tire is really flat?

To be honest, I have never opened up the floor to see if I have a spare or tools, I generally remove the tires with a hydraulic floor jack and use jack stands to support it. Use battery operated impact for removing and installing the lug nuts and a torque wrench for torque. Before installing tire I clean off the rotors around the studs and put a small amount of anti-seize on the studs and on the rotor around the surface off the studs- only where the rim comes in contact with the rotor. After having one time having a rim eat into the rotor and could not remove the tire (flat), after beating it with a 10" log and leaving the tire on the car with lug nuts loose and putting on the ground and shaking the car violently it would not come off. A kind farmer drove up to us with a large sledge hammer and after the 2nd swing it popped right off. It was a Toyota Camry, so I always want to be certain none of the nuts or tire/rim stuck again.
